It’s week two of our super summer schedule. Last week we didn’t manage to complete everything on the list — a leak in our kitchen ceiling forced us to tear a hole to find the source, and we also spent a day and a half dealing with Ohio plates and licenses. Le sigh.
Here’s what we’ll be doing this week:
Make Something Monday: make bouncy balls. The girls love bouncy balls, and they’ll be thrilled to learn we can make our own. I’m curious to see how well the experiment works.
Take a Trip Tuesday: get library cards. This was the first fun outing that got postponed last week because of the kitchen leak. We’ll fit it in this Tuesday.
Wet + Wild Wednesday: water table. I’m keeping this one simple — the water table always entertains them. I might add a little food coloring to the water to make it more exciting.
Thinking Thursday: alphabet scavenger hunt. I forgot that Independence Day fell on Thursday last week, so we didn’t get to this activity. We’ll try it this Thursday.
Fresh + Fun Friday: rainbow bubble snakes. We postponed these after spending too much time at the Ohio DMV. I’m betting rainbow bubble snakes will be far more enjoyable than the seven trips we made for licenses and plates last week.
